My Experience

My Masters

In Fall 2026, I began a new chapter at Texas State University, where I am pursuing my master’s degree in Digital Media Communication. I may have just started, but you are actually looking at one of the first projects of this new journey. This website was created for my Digital Media Design class! As I continue developing my skills in digital media, I also have a few personal projects in mind that I believe my classes will help me develop as well as possible. The idea is still a work in progress, so for now… no spoilers. Will be back soon to post more about it tho!

My Bachelor

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Journalism from California State University, Long Beach, where one of the most important parts of my experience was spending a year with Beach TV News. During that time, I had the opportunity to experience different sides of broadcast journalism, working as a reporter, editor, and producer. From pitching stories and interviewing people to writing scripts, editing video, and seeing everything come together in a newscast, Beach TV News gave me hands-on experience with the fast-paced environment of television production.

My Associates

My college journey in the United States began at Santa Monica College. Moving to the U.S. was already a huge adventure, and getting to live in Santa Monica, (the place I had dreamed about living in for years), made that chapter even more special. SMC was also where I had my first real experiences with journalism. I learned how a newsroom works, and began developing my voice as a journalist and storyteller. Most importantly, it was during this time that I started understanding what direction I wanted my career to take. I enjoyed writing, but I realized I wanted to do more than tell stories through words on a page. I wanted to be involved in the Digital Media part of the process of telling a story.
